Some of the players with Liffeybank's newest team. The U12 (2011) Boys played their first game of football today when they traveled to the wonderful facilities in Berryfield to play the local Enniskerry YC team.

Sam, Christopher, Nathan, Daniel and Tadgh were joined by other 2011 lads Rory, Conor and Oisin plus Josh, Dylan, Ryan and Hunter from the U11's to make another small bit of history for the club. None of the guys have played organised football before but their enthusiasm more than makes up for that. Goals by Ryan, Sam and Tadgh weren't enough for victory as the host ran out 5.3 winners but it wasn't the result that really mattered. The team are looking for a few more boys to join them, no previous experience necessary, all you need is a willingness to play and enjoy yourself.
