The MGL North team went one up after 20 mins but a quick response from Galway minutes later levelled. The MGL were on top in the 2nd. half but Galway broke away ten minutes in, a super tackle by the MGL Captain Skye Barrett broke down the attack. After that MGL maintained their superiority and got just rewards with a well taken second goal and then 5 mins to go got the third to wrap up the SFAI Inter League Title.
